Rav Chaim Kanievsky zt"l

Growth Through Our Gedolim

Growth to Greatness · 5:59 · Gedolim & Heroes

During a blackout in the Lomza Yeshiva, one bochur came back with a candle and kept learning, undisturbed. That bochur was Rav Chaim Kanievsky zt"l. Rabbi Yaakov Moskowitz tells of the Sar HaTorah's extraordinary daily learning schedule (he kept it even after a stroke), his mastery of all of Torah, and the endless line of Jews who came to him for advice and brachos. In English.
