Rav Mordechai Gifter zt"l

Growth Through Our Gedolim

Growth to Greatness · 5:39 · Gedolim & Heroes

A boy in yeshiva hung pictures of the gedolim in his room, with one blank frame at the end labeled "Why not you?" He grew up to become Rav Mordechai Gifter zt"l. Rabbi Yaakov Moskowitz tells how a public-school kid from Portsmouth, Virginia became the Telshe Rosh Yeshiva for 55 years, his burning love for every word of Torah, and his care for his talmidim. In English.
