Rav Shmuel Berenbaum zt"l

Growth Through Our Gedolim

Growth to Greatness · 5:16 · Gedolim & Heroes

"Torah, that is my air." Rav Shmuel Berenbaum zt"l, Rosh Yeshiva of the Mir in Brooklyn, wouldn't miss a seder even for an important event, and right after open-heart surgery the first thing he asked for was a Gemara. Rabbi Yaakov Moskowitz tells of his love of learning and the talmidim he raised. In English.
