Rav Avraham Yaakov Pam zt"l
Growth Through Our Gedolim
Growth to Greatness · 6:12 · Gedolim & Heroes
Even in pain, Rav Avraham Yaakov Pam zt"l climbed the stairs to help a fellow Jew: "Staying home, that's what's difficult." Rabbi Yaakov Moskowitz tells of his relentless hasmada, his 63 years as a rebbi at Yeshiva Torah Vodaath, the yeshivos and tuition funds he founded for Russian immigrant children, and his rare sensitivity to every person (bein adam lachaveiro). In English.
