Three lessons from Parshas Pekudei with Saba Kadisha: Moshe gives an exact, honest account of the gold, silver and copper, everything is made exactly as Hashem commanded, and the Mishkan is finished and the cloud of glory fills it. Then Gadi returns every shekel of change, the chaburah builds a careful model of the Mishkan, and Tanchum stays to finish it.
שלושה דברים מפרשת פקודי: תמיד ביושר, עושים הכל בזהירות ובדיוק, וגומרים עד הסוף. חזק חזק ונתחזק!

Hello, dear children! It's Saba Kadisha. Oy, oy, oy, oy! Last week, all the parts were ready, and this week we'll see how everything joins together into one Mishkan. Sunday after school, the four friends came like every week to Saba Kadisha's room. This week we have a big, special parsha, and it has three things every kid needs to know. Three? Star-counter ready. A star for each one. Easy! Number one: when the work was finished, Moshe gave an exact account in front of everyone: how much gold, how much silver and how much copper they brought, and what they made from each thing. From the gold they made the vessels. From the silver they made the sockets that hold the beams. And from the copper they made the mizbe'ach. Everything was in its place. Why? Everyone trusted Moshe, but Moshe wanted everyone to see with their own eyes that everything was done honestly, and nothing got lost. Children, when something that isn't ours is with us, we take care of it and give it back exactly. That way, everyone can trust us. So, always honestly. One star! Number two: the clothes of the kohanim were finished, and again and again, the Torah says: Ka'asher tziva Hashem es Moshe, exactly as Hashem said. Every thread, every stitch and every beam was made exactly as it should be, not less and not more, carefully and with love. And then they brought everything to Moshe, and Moshe saw that everything was done exactly as Hashem commanded, and he blessed everyone with love. Children, when we do something carefully and exactly, the way it should be, it's the most beautiful, in schoolwork and in mitzvos too. So we do everything carefully. Two stars! And number three: On Rosh Chodesh Nissan, Moshe set up the Mishkan, beam after beam, curtain after curtain, until it all stood complete. And then a white, soft cloud covered the Mishkan, and the glory of Hashem filled the Mishkan. Everyone felt that Hashem was really with them, in the middle of the camp. And when the cloud lifted, Bnei Yisrael traveled, and when the cloud rested, they camped. That's how Hashem led them the whole way in the desert. Children, they didn't stop in the middle. They worked and worked until the Mishkan was finished. And when we finish something to the end, it's a big joy. So we finish to the end. Three stars! The counter is full! And just then, Saba Kadisha asked Gadi to buy cardboard and glue for a small model of the Mishkan, and he gave him money. So here's this week's mission: One: be honest with things that aren't ours. Two: do everything carefully and exactly. And three: finish what we started. My gadget says: honesty is the most important. Gadi, I'm going with you to the store. And I'll bring back all the change. At the store, Gadi and Yisrael bought cardboard and glue, and the seller gave them the change in a little bag. Gadi guarded it very carefully. Gadi, maybe we'll buy a candy with the change? My gadget says: it's not ours. And Gadi gave Saba Kadisha back all the change, down to the last shekel, just like Moshe Rabbeinu. And the first star lit up. Then the friends started building the model of the Mishkan out of cardboard and glue, and in front of them was an exact plan. Let's glue fast. Never mind if it's a little crooked. No, Gadi. We do it exactly like the plan. And Gadi agreed and took a ruler. They measured the pillars and cut carefully every wall and every pillar, exactly like the plan. And the second star lit up. But in the middle, Tanchum got tired of it. The model was only half done, and he took a ball and wanted to go play outside. Wait. We started together, so we'll finish together. I'm staying. And they worked and worked until the model was finished. And Tanchum put a little cloud made of cotton wool on top. And the third star lit up. My gadget says: we finished to the end! And at the end, the friends and Saba Kadisha sang a happy niggun together. Friends, this week we were honest, we did everything exactly, and we finished to the end. Three stars! The mission is complete! On Shabbos night, at the table, the friends told about the Mishkan, because this week we finish Sefer Shemos. Dear children, this week you were honest, you did everything exactly, and you finished to the end. And everyone says: Chazak, chazak, venischazek! And next week we start a new sefer. What will we learn in it? We'll see next week! And now, thank you for watching with us, and Shabbat shalom! And next week, Sefer Vayikra: Hashem calls Moshe from inside the Mishkan. What will He tell him? We'll find out next week!
