Meet Mr. Appelbaum

Hashkifa · 5:25 · Torah & Chizuk

As a young soldier in World War II, Mr. Appelbaum was badly hurt and begged Hashem to heal his hands, promising to use them for good. He kept that promise: he started learning Torah and never stopped, and at almost 100 he is still learning every day. Rabbi Yoel Gold shares an inspiring true story about the power of a promise and a life of learning.
