Sambousek and Tabulé
Kosher.com Kids · 7:09 · Make It!
Join Savta Orly as she prepares sambousek, a cheese-filled pastry, with Shani. Savta Orly fondly remembers sneaking into her own kitchen as a child to grab one – now she passes on this beloved family recipe, great for the Nine Days or anytime!
Get the recipe:
Dough 3 cups all-purpose flour, such as Glicks 1 tablespoon Gefen Yeast, mixed with 1/2 cup of water and 1/2 teaspoon of sugar 1 teaspoon salt (I like to use Himalayan pink salt) 3/4 cup water, gradually added to the flour (if need be) 1 spoonful of oil, such as Tonnelli Avocado Oil
